Ciabatta DIGITUS DN-19 PDU-7S – 7 uscite, 230 V, cavo 0,48 m

DIGITUS DN-19 PDU-7S is a compact power strip offering seven 230 V outlets and a 0.48 m supply cable. Designed for use in racks and workspaces, the unit supplies multiple devices such as servers, networking equipment and peripherals while occupying minimal space. Its slim profile and fixed short cable make it suitable for mounting in tight installations where organized power distribution is required.

Advantages

The power strip provides seven grounded 230 V sockets that reduce the need for separate adapters and enable consolidated power delivery for multiple devices. Its compact form factor supports installation in 19-inch rack environments and on workbenches, while the short 0.48 m cable helps prevent excess cable clutter. The device is intended to simplify connection management and maintain a tidy power layout for compact server or network setups.

Suitable for

• Small rack-mounted server cabinets and network racks
• Workspace power distribution for desktop peripherals and test equipment
• Telecommunications closets and edge network installations
• Temporary setups where a short supply cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Number of outlets: 7 grounded sockets
• Nominal voltage: 230 V AC
• Supply cable length: 0.48 m
• Form factor: compact, rack-compatible design
• Mounting: suitable for horizontal mounting in constrained spaces

How to use

Install the power strip in the desired rack position or place it on a work surface so that the fixed cable can reach the mains inlet without strain. Connect the supply cable to a suitable 230 V power source and plug devices into the seven available outlets. Distribute connected equipment to avoid overloading a single outlet group, and route device cables to minimise interference and maintain accessibility for maintenance.

Recommendations

Verify the combined power consumption of connected devices to ensure it does not exceed the rated capacity of the installation circuit. Use the unit in dry indoor environments and avoid placing heavy objects on the strip. For rack installations, secure the power strip according to cabinet guidelines and allow sufficient ventilation around heat-generating equipment.
