Connettore coassiale tipo F ShiverPeaks BS15-301614

The ShiverPeaks BS15-301614 F-type coaxial connector is a two-piece pack designed for reliable signal transmission between coaxial cables and devices. Each connector uses an F-type interface for straightforward assembly and secure attachment to threaded coaxial jacks. The design focuses on maintaining signal integrity with minimal insertion loss and durable mechanical contact suitable for home entertainment systems and professional RF installations.

Advantages

These F-type coaxial connectors provide stable electrical contact and a threaded mechanical connection that resists accidental disconnection. Constructed for repeated installation and removal, the connectors aim to reduce reflections and maintain a consistent impedance match across typical coaxial cable runs. The compact form factor simplifies use in tight spaces and behind AV equipment.

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type (threaded)
• Pack quantity: 2 connectors
• Compatibility: standard 75 Ω coaxial cables and sockets
• Construction: metal body with center conductor contact designed for low signal loss
• Application frequency range: suitable for television, satellite and broadband RF signals
• Mounting: screw-on threaded attachment for secure mechanical connection

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and braid to expose the dielectric and center conductor according to the connector’s insertion requirements. Slide the connector onto the cable and ensure the center conductor is properly seated in the central contact. Screw the connector onto the device or mating jack until hand-tight, avoiding over-tightening which could deform the connector or cable. Verify the mechanical fit and test signal quality after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use these connectors with quality 75 Ω coaxial cable and ensure clean, corrosion-free mating surfaces. Avoid repeated excessive torque when fastening; finger-tight plus a fraction of a turn with an appropriate tool is usually sufficient. In outdoor or humid environments, consider additional sealing or weatherproofing at the connection point to prevent moisture ingress and corrosion.
