Connettore coassiale DELOCK 89756 — connettore FAKRA B, contatti dorati, 9,4×25,6×7,4 mm

DELOCK 89756 is a coaxial FAKRA B male connector with gold-plated contacts, designed for reliable signal transmission in automotive and radio frequency systems. With compact dimensions of 9.4 × 25.6 × 7.4 mm and a robust metal housing, this connector supports durable physical connections for cabling, antenna leads and sensor interfaces where a FAKRA B interface is specified. The gold-plated contacts reduce contact resistance and improve corrosion resistance for long-term stable performance.

Advantages

The FAKRA B male design ensures correct keyed mating with compatible FAKRA sockets, preventing misalignment and ensuring consistent RF performance. Gold-plated contacts provide low contact resistance and enhanced corrosion protection in automotive environments. Compact dimensions enable use in confined installation spaces and the standard FAKRA interface supports common automotive and telematics cabling requirements.

How to use

Align the FAKRA B male connector with the corresponding female FAKRA B socket, ensuring the keyed housing matches the mating part to avoid improper insertion. Push the connector firmly until you feel it seat; the keyed design secures correct orientation. Use appropriate coaxial cable assembly practice—prepare the cable conductor, dielectric and shield according to the mating system and secure the connector per the cable termination method specified for your harness. Verify continuity and RF performance after assembly or installation.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid exposing the connector to prolonged moisture or aggressive chemicals. When used in automotive installations, ensure proper strain relief and routing of the coaxial cable to prevent mechanical stress. Inspect contacts during periodic maintenance and replace the connector if contact wear or corrosion is observed.
