Connettore coassiale tipo F ShiverPeaks BS85029-A

The ShiverPeaks BS85029-A is an F-type coaxial connector designed for reliable signal transmission in home entertainment and telecommunications installations. This male F-connector has a 7 mm outer diameter where it mates with coaxial cable components and is supplied as a single unit for direct replacement or custom cable assembly. The connector is intended for use with standard coaxial cable assemblies to maintain consistent audio and video signal quality and mechanical stability.

Advantages

The connector offers a compact, standardized F-type design that supports stable RF connections and minimizes signal loss when properly installed. Its metal housing provides mechanical durability for repeated connection cycles and good electrical contact. Being sold individually, it allows selective replacement of worn connectors or the creation of custom-length cables without excess packaging.

Suitable for

• Connecting set-top boxes, satellite receivers and cable modems
• Home TV and audio systems requiring coaxial connections
• Custom coaxial cable assembly and on-site connector replacement
• Telecommunications patching and signal distribution points

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Mating outer diameter: 7 mm
• Material: metal conductor and housing (typical for F-connectors)
• Pack size: single unit
• Intended signal: RF/coaxial for audio, video and data

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by removing the outer jacket and trimming the braid and dielectric according to the connector manufacturer's installation guidelines. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and ensure the central conductor is correctly positioned in the pin of the male F-connector. Secure the connector by crimping or tightening, depending on the connector variant, and verify a firm mechanical fit and electrical continuity before final installation.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable preparation tools and follow best practices for coaxial termination to ensure low signal loss and long-term reliability. Avoid over-tightening on mating devices to prevent deformation of the connector and check connections periodically in environments subject to vibration or temperature change.
