Connettore maschio PA ShiverPeaks 55201 a 4 poli avvitabile con scarico di trazione

ShiverPeaks PA connector 55201 is a 4‑pole screwable audio connector with integrated strain relief, developed for professional public address and fixed audio installations. The connector offers screw terminals that secure conductors without soldering, while the housing and built-in cable relief reduce mechanical stress at the cable entry. It is suitable for applications that require serviceable, robust wiring between loudspeakers, amplifiers and audio distribution systems.

Advantages

The screwable terminal design enables reliable conductor contact and straightforward field termination using simple tools. Integrated strain relief provides mechanical protection against cable pull and reduces the risk of contact failure. The compact 4‑pole format allows wiring of multi‑channel speaker connections or combined signal and loop wiring in a single connector, simplifying installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Permanent loudspeaker installations in venues and public spaces
• Connecting amplifiers to speaker arrays or multi‑way cabinets
• Audio distribution panels and wall plate assemblies
• Temporary PA setups requiring serviceable, screw‑terminal connections

Key specifications

• Contact configuration: 4 conductors (4‑pole)
• Termination: screw terminals for solid and stranded conductors
• Strain relief: integrated cable strain relief to protect terminations
• Mounting style: free‑hanging inline connector for cable-to-cable or cable-to-panel use
• Typical applications: loudspeakers, amplifiers, PA systems and audio distribution

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the conductor insulation to the recommended length, insert each conductor into the appropriate screw terminal and tighten the screws securely with a screwdriver. Verify that the conductor insulation is clamped by the terminal and that there is no exposed bare wire beyond the contact area. Route the cable so that the integrated strain relief seats properly around the jacket, then close or assemble the connector housing according to the product fitment so the relief provides mechanical protection.

Recommendations

For reliable long‑term performance, use conductors sized appropriately for the audio load, avoid over‑tightening terminals, and ensure the strain relief grips the cable jacket. Inspect connections periodically in permanent installations and replace the connector if mechanical damage, corrosion or intermittent contact is observed.
