Connettore XLR ShiverPeaks BS55022-B — connettore femmina a 3 poli, custodia blu

XLR connector ShiverPeaks BS55022-B is a 3-pin female audio connector in a blue housing designed for balanced audio signals and microphone or line-level connections. It provides the standard XLR interface with a latch locking mechanism and robust contact geometry for reliable signal transmission. The connector is suitable for both cable and panel mounting where a blue-coloured housing is preferred for identification or aesthetic purposes in live sound, studio, broadcast and fixed installation environments.

Advantages

The blue-housed 3-pin female XLR offers solid mechanical retention and consistent electrical contact designed for repeated mating cycles. Its construction supports secure cable termination and reduces contact degradation over time. The housing colour aids visual identification of signal paths or channel grouping, while the standard XLR form factor ensures compatibility with mixers, microphones, stage boxes and other professional audio equipment.

Suitable for

• Balanced microphone connections on stage and in studio
• Line-level audio routing in broadcast and installation systems
• Panel or cable termination where colour-coding is required
• Audio patch bays, stage boxes and DI boxes requiring female XLR inputs

Key specifications

• Contact configuration: 3-pin female XLR
• Housing colour: blue
• Intended signal type: balanced microphone and line-level audio
• Mounting options: cable and panel mounting compatible
• Locking mechanism: standard XLR latch for secure connection

How to use

Strip the cable to expose conductors and follow the connector's internal wiring labels for pin assignment. Insert each conductor into the appropriate contact and tighten the termination screws or solder connections as specified by the connector design. For panel mounting, secure the connector in the panel cutout using the provided fastening method and verify that the latch operates freely. After assembly, test continuity and polarity with a multimeter or audio tester before putting the connection into regular use.

Recommendations

Use this female XLR connector in balanced audio lines and microphone circuits to maintain signal integrity. Match shielding and grounding practices to your system requirements, avoid sharp cable bends near the termination, and periodically inspect the contacts and latch for corrosion or mechanical wear.
