Cornice in alluminio argento Franken BS1004 opaco

Franken BS1004 Matte is a silver picture frame crafted from durable aluminium with a matte surface that reduces reflections and emphasises image details. With a visible width of 100 mm and a depth of 810 mm, this frame is designed to support and present photographs, prints or certificates in a contemporary interior. The neutral silver finish complements a wide range of colours and styles while the aluminium construction ensures long-term stability and lightness for wall mounting or tabletop display.

Advantages

The aluminium construction offers corrosion resistance and dimensional stability, keeping the frame straight and secure over time. The matte surface minimizes glare and helps concentrate attention on the framed image rather than the frame itself. The substantial width gives a deliberate, modern border that suits both single images and grouped displays. Lightweight design simplifies handling and installation while maintaining a premium metallic look.

Suitable for

• Framing photographs and art prints for home or office walls
• Presenting certificates, diplomas or awards in reception areas
• Creating gallery-style displays or grouped wall arrangements
• Exhibitions or retail displays requiring a neutral, modern frame

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium with matte finish
• Frame visible width: 100 mm
• Frame depth: 810 mm
• Colour: silver (matte)
• Suitable mounting: wall mounting and freestanding options depending on accessory selection

How to use

Measure the artwork or photograph and prepare any required backing or mount board to the image size. Remove the frame backing and insert the picture, ensuring it sits squarely and centered within the visible aperture. Replace the backing and secure any fasteners. Use appropriate wall fixings for the surface type when hanging: anchors for drywall, screws for wooden surfaces or masonry plugs for brick or concrete. For tabletop display, attach a compatible easel or stand if provided or available separately.

Recommendations

For best visual results, combine the Franken aluminium frame with acid-free mount boards to protect prints and maintain colour fidelity. Clean the matte aluminium with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could affect the finish. When hanging multiple frames, plan spacing and alignment beforehand and use level tools to ensure consistent presentation.
