Good to know

The BNR-008 is a standalone NVR, meaning it operates independently without a PC. It supports a single 3.5-inch SATA hard drive up to 8TB, which you can install yourself for local recording. The unit runs on embedded Linux and includes a 12V power adapter. For best results, use cameras that conform to ONVIF Profile S to ensure seamless integration. Note that the Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbps, which is sufficient for eight 1080p streams but may limit higher-resolution cameras.
