Dado rivettato GESIPA M8, 11 × 18,5 mm, per lamiere 1,5–4,5 mm, testa svasata 90°

GESIPA blind rivet nut M8 with a 90° countersunk head, overall dimensions 11 × 18.5 mm, is designed to create a permanent internal M8 thread in thin or hard-to-reach materials. Intended for sheet thicknesses from 1.5 to 4.5 mm, this blind rivet nut enables fastening where welding or tapping is impractical, and its countersunk head ensures a flush finish and even load distribution on the panel surface.

Advantages

The 90° countersunk head provides a flush seating that reduces protrusion and prevents interference with adjacent components. Compatibility with 1.5–4.5 mm panels offers flexibility across a range of sheet metal and enclosure applications. The blind installation method allows fastening from one side of the workpiece, making it suitable for restricted-access areas. The design produces a strong, vibration-resistant M8 thread that supports structural fastening and repair tasks.

How to use

Drill or prepare a correctly sized countersink hole in the panel according to the specified overall dimensions. Insert the blind rivet nut from the accessible side and use an appropriate blind rivet nut tool to set the rivet nut until the shank deforms and clamps against the rear side of the material, forming the permanent internal M8 thread. After installation, fasten the mating M8 bolt or screw to assemble the components. Check that the head sits flush within the countersunk surface and that the installed nut provides secure engagement.

Recommendations

Ensure hole diameter and countersink geometry match the rivet nut dimensions to achieve flush seating. Use a rivet nut tool compatible with M8 rivet nuts and select appropriate torque values for the mating fastener to avoid overloading thin panels. For critical structural applications, verify material compatibility and perform a test installation to confirm load distribution and thread engagement.
