In daily use

Installed at the base of a down conductor or at the transition to the earth electrode, this box keeps the test joint accessible and protected. During periodic inspection, the link is removed to isolate the earth electrode, the measurement is taken, and the link is reinstalled. The clamp design holds the conductor securely without special tooling.
