DeLOCK 83235 Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 1m LC SC OS2 giallo

The DeLOCK 83235 is a 1 m InfiniBand fibre optic cable with an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other. It uses OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission and interconnection of network devices, for example linking an FTTH house interconnection point to a fibre optic modem. The cable is yellow and supplied in a zip poly bag.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable supports single-mode OS2 transmission for long-distance, low-attenuation links. The combination of LC and SC connectors provides compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment. With a 1 m length and standard connector types, the cable is convenient for short interconnections and rack or desk installations. The cable is packaged for simple storage and handling.

Suitable for

• Connecting FTTH interconnection points to fibre optic modems
• Short interconnections between network devices in racks or cabinets
• InfiniBand or optical networking equipment requiring LC-to-SC cabling

How to use

Unpack the cable from the zip poly bag. Align and insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC port on the respective devices until they click into place or are seated securely. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before connection to minimise signal loss. Route the cable without sharp bends and ensure the bend radius is respected to avoid fibre damage.

Recommendations

Use this LC–SC OS2 fibre cable for single-mode optical links where a 1 m InfiniBand or network connection is required. Keep the connectors covered when not in use, avoid excessive bending and protect the cable from mechanical stress. For outdoor or direct-burial use, select a cable specifically rated for that environment.
