Diffusore attivo dBTechnologies KL 10, 400W

The dBTechnologies KL 10 is an active speaker with a 10" driver designed to deliver clear sound and reliable performance for live sound, events and installations. With 400W peak power handling and a compact, lightweight cabinet, it combines portability with robust acoustic output. The speaker offers multiple input and mounting options to suit front‑of‑house and monitor applications, while its durable enclosure and ergonomic handles support frequent transport and quick setup.

Advantages

The KL 10 provides high output relative to its size, producing defined mid and low frequencies from the 10" woofer and clear high end through its high-frequency section. Its active design integrates amplification and signal routing, reducing the need for external power amplifiers and simplifying system configuration. The cabinet construction balances weight and strength for easier handling, and the connectivity panel supports flexible input choices for microphones, line signals and playback devices.

Suitable for

• Small to medium live performances and bands
• DJ and club setups
• Corporate events, presentations and conferences
• Installed sound in bars, restaurants and event spaces
• Stage monitor use for musicians and vocalists

Key specifications

• Driver size: 10-inch woofer
• Power: 400W peak power handling
• Configuration: active (built-in amplification)
• Enclosure: lightweight, transport-friendly cabinet with handles
• Connectivity: multiple inputs for microphone and line-level sources
• Mounting options: pole mount and stage monitor angle compatible

How to use

Place the KL 10 on a speaker stand or stage surface depending on application. Connect source devices using the available inputs and set gain and level controls to achieve the required volume without clipping. For use as a monitor, position the enclosure at an angle so performers receive direct sound. If used in a portable PA system, link additional speakers or subwoofers as needed and apply basic equalization to match room acoustics.

Recommendations

Ensure proper gain staging: start with channel gains low and raise the master level gradually to avoid distortion. When transporting the speaker, use protective covers or flight cases to prevent scratches and impact damage. For consistent performance, avoid placing the speaker in confined corners that can cause excessive bass build-up and allow adequate ventilation around the amplifier section during extended use.
