DIGITUS Cavo patch in fibra ottica, LC su ST OS2, monomodale 9/125 µm, duplex, lunghezza 3 m

The Digitus Fiber Optic Patch Cord DK-2931-03 is a 3 m singlemode duplex cable with LC to ST connectors and OS2 9/125 µm fiber. Designed for high-speed data transmission, it provides a reliable physical link between network devices and supports long-distance, low-loss optical connections in structured cabling and telecommunications installations.

Advantages

This patch cord uses OS2 singlemode fiber with a 9 µm core for low attenuation and stable signal quality over longer distances. The duplex configuration and LC–ST connector combination enable full-duplex links and flexible integration into mixed-connector environments. The I‑VH cable construction offers mechanical robustness and environmental resistance for typical data centre and enterprise installations.

Suitable for

• Backbone and horizontal fiber runs in structured cabling
• Interconnections in data centres and server rooms
• Telecommunications links and ISP network equipment
• Fiber patch panels and media converters requiring LC or ST ports

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before installation. Insert the LC connector into the LC port and the ST connector into the ST port, ensuring proper alignment and a firm but gentle seating. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the installation environment. For best results, test the optical link with appropriate fiber testers after connection to verify attenuation and continuity.

Recommendations

Use with equipment that supports LC and ST connectors in singlemode networks; keep protective caps on connectors when not in use and store the cable coiled without tight loops to preserve fiber integrity.
