Disco abrasivo Roloc 3M 76 mm grosso SC-DR per acciaio e acciaio inox (7000000756)

3M Abrasive Roloc Disc 76 mm coarse SC-DR is an abrasive disc engineered for metalworking tasks on steel and stainless steel. With a 76 mm diameter and a coarse grit structure, the disc delivers fast material removal and aggressive surface preparation. It is designed to attach to Roloc-style quick-change back-up pads, allowing rapid disc changes during welding preparation, rust and scale removal, and general stock removal operations.

Advantages

The disc provides high cutting speed and uniform abrasive wear for consistent performance across the working surface. Its coarse abrasiveness reduces time spent on weld blending and heavy-duty cleaning while maintaining a predictable finish. The Roloc attachment system enables quick, tool-free disc changes, improving workflow efficiency in maintenance and fabrication environments. The construction balances durability with flexibility to conform to contours during surface preparation.

How to use

Fit the abrasive Roloc disc onto a compatible Roloc back-up pad mounted to the appropriate rotary tool or angle grinder, ensuring the tool is powered off during fitting. Operate the tool at the recommended speed for the backing pad and disc; apply steady, moderate pressure and move the disc across the work surface to avoid concentrated heat buildup. For weld blending and heavy material removal, use overlapping passes until the desired surface profile is achieved. Replace the disc when abrasive performance diminishes or if the disc shows damage.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection suitable for metal dust and particulate. Match the disc to the correct rotational speed of the power tool and the specific metalworking task. For fine finishing after aggressive removal, follow with a finer grit abrasive to achieve the required surface finish.
