Dissipatore ad aria DeepCool ASSASSIN 4S

The ASSASSIN 4S is a high-performance CPU air cooler featuring seven 6mm heat pipes and a redesigned 140mm FDB fan. The 4S removes the rear 120mm fan for a slimmer, more symmetrical cooler that maintains strong cooling capacity while improving RAM clearance and overall compatibility.

Advantages

The cooler offers two operating modes—quiet and performance—selectable with a slide switch to prioritize low noise or maximum cooling. Its streamlined shell directs airflow efficiently through dual fin towers, and the recessed central 140mm fan increases airflow to nearby VRMs. Three-phase, six-pole low-voltage fan motors ensure silent operation with low power consumption. The package includes industrial-grade DM9 thermal paste and a magnetic top fan cover to simplify installation.

Key specifications

• Model: ASSASSIN 4S
• Heat pipes: 7 × 6 mm
• Fan: 140 mm FDB (center)
• Fan configuration: single central 140mm (no rear 120mm)
• Operating modes: Quiet / Performance (switch selectable)
• Included thermal paste: DM9
• Warranty: 6 years (limited)

How to use

Mount the cooler to the CPU following the included bracket and manual for your socket type. Apply a thin, even layer of the supplied DM9 thermal paste on the CPU heatspreader before seating the cooler. Connect the fan to the motherboard CPU fan header, then select Quiet or Performance mode using the slide switch depending on whether you prioritize low noise or maximum cooling. Ensure the magnetic top cover is attached after installation to help direct airflow.

Recommendations

For optimal results, verify clearance for tall RAM modules and ensure good case airflow. Use Performance mode for intensive CPU workloads and Quiet mode for everyday or noise-sensitive use. Follow the manual for mounting steps and torque guidelines to avoid mounting damage.
