The DIGITUS DA-71546-1 docking station lets you connect and manage M.2 NVMe and M.2 SATA SSDs via a USB-C™ (USB 3.2 Gen 2) connection and also includes an integrated SD Express 7.1 card reader. The compact device supports M.2 formats 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 and accepts NVMe (B+M-key / M-key) and SATA (B+M-key) modules with up to 4 TB per slot. With a maximum USB transfer rate of 10 Gbps and SD Express speeds up to 1000 MB/s, it is suitable for expanding storage on notebooks, PCs, game consoles, TVs, NAS devices or routers that provide a USB-C™ port.

How to use

Insert a compatible M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD into the corresponding M.2 bay (observe keying and supported lengths), and insert an SD Express card into the card slot if needed. Connect the docking station to a host device using the supplied USB-C™ cable into the USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and, if required, connect the DC power supply. The device supports hot-swap, so drives can be inserted or removed during operation; ensure the host operating system finishes any file operations before removal. No drivers are required for most modern operating systems — the unit is recognized as an external storage device.
