DSIT CAT 6a S/FTP LSOH cavo patch di rete, 2 m, blu (DC-6A4-020)

In a busy office, a network administrator replaces a failing cable between a workstation and a wall outlet with this DSIT CAT 6a patch cable. The blue LSOH jacket blends into the cable management, and the S/FTP shielding ensures the 10GBASE-T link remains stable even near power lines.

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6a (Class Ea) with 500 MHz bandwidth
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened/foiled twisted pair) for maximum EMI protection
• Length: 2 metres, ideal for rack-to-device or desk connections
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSOH (low smoke zero halogen) for improved fire safety
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbps Ethernet (10GBASE-T)
• Conductor: pure copper, wired to TIA/EIA-568B
• PoE support: PoE, PoE+, and UPoE for powering devices

Why choose it

This cable delivers reliable 10-Gigabit performance while meeting strict fire safety regulations. The S/FTP construction minimises alien crosstalk in dense installations, and the LSOH jacket emits low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire, making it suitable for public buildings and data centres.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting high-speed workstations to network switches
• Data centre patching between servers and patch panels
• Powering PoE devices such as IP cameras and access points
• Installations where fire safety is critical (hospitals, schools, offices)

Good to know

Backward compatible with Cat 6, Cat 5e, and Cat 5 networks, so it works with existing infrastructure. The moulded strain relief protects the cable from bending stress, extending its lifespan. The blue colour aids in colour-coding network segments.
