DSIT Cavo di rete CAT 6a LSOH - S/FTP - 50 m - blu (DC-6A4-500)

For installations where fire safety and signal integrity are non-negotiable, this DSIT CAT 6a cable delivers 10 Gigabit performance over 50 metres with an LSOH jacket that emits minimal smoke and no corrosive halogens in a fire. Unlike standard PVC cables, it meets strict IEC fire safety standards, making it suitable for public buildings, offices, and industrial environments. The S/FTP shielding—both an overall braid and individual foil per pair—provides excellent protection against alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliable high-speed data transmission even in cable-dense areas.

Highlights

• Category 6a performance: supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet up to 500 MHz bandwidth.
• S/FTP shielding: braided screen plus foil per twisted pair for superior noise immunity.
• LSOH jacket: low smoke zero halogen, reduces toxic emissions and smoke density in fire.
• Solid bare copper conductors, 23 AWG, for consistent signal quality and easy termination.
• 50-metre bulk cable, un-terminated, ideal for custom-length runs in structured cabling.
• Compliant with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, and TIA/EIA-568-C.2 standards.

In daily use

Installing this cable is straightforward: the solid copper conductors hold their shape in punch-down blocks and keystone jacks, and the 7.2 mm outer diameter fits standard CAT 6a connectors and conduits. The blue jacket provides easy identification in racks and cable trays. With a voltage rating of 75 V and operating temperature range from -20°C to +60°C, it is robust enough for both indoor fixed installations and challenging environments. Return loss better than 20 dB ensures minimal signal reflection, maintaining high data integrity over the full 50-metre length.
