DSIT Danicom CAT7 S/FTP cavo per installazione 50m conduttore massiccio LSZH Dca – 10 Gbit/s doppio schermato

Running a 10 Gigabit backbone through an office building or industrial facility demands a cable that can handle high-speed data without interference. This 50-metre DSIT Danicom CAT7 S/FTP installation cable is built for exactly that. With solid bare copper conductors and double shielding, it delivers reliable 10GBASE-T performance up to 600 MHz, making it a go-to choice for structured cabling projects where future-proofing is a priority.

Key specifications

• Category: CAT7
• Shielding: S/FTP (braided overall + foil per pair, PiMF)
• Conductor: Solid bare copper, AWG23
• Length: 50 metres
• Data rate: 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Bandwidth: 600 MHz
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), grey
• Fire class: Dca-s2,d2,a1
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, TIA/EIA-568-C.2
• PoE support: PoE, PoE+, PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt)

Why choose it

The S/FTP construction means each twisted pair is individually wrapped in aluminium foil, and the whole bundle is covered by a tinned copper braid. This dual-layer shielding drastically reduces alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable 10G connections even in cable-dense environments. The LSZH jacket emits very low smoke and no halogen gases in case of fire, meeting strict safety regulations for public buildings, schools, and hospitals. The solid conductor design is ideal for permanent installations where the cable won't be flexed repeatedly, providing lower attenuation over long runs compared to stranded cables.

Ideal use cases

• Structured cabling in office buildings
• Industrial Ethernet backbone installations
• Data centres and server rooms
• Educational and healthcare facilities requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling
• PoE++ applications such as high-power access points or security cameras

Good to know

This cable is compliant with CPR fire class Dca-s2,d2,a1, ensuring low smoke emission and low acidity in case of fire. It supports Power over Ethernet up to IEEE 802.3bt, making it suitable for modern PoE devices. The 50-metre length is ideal for runs between floors or across large rooms, and the grey LSZH jacket blends discreetly into most environments.
