EFB Elektronik cavo trunk U-DQ ZN BH OM4 4G 1x4 LC-LC 180m Dca LSZH O8303S180OM4

Data center technicians and enterprise network engineers deploy this 180-meter OM4 multimode trunk cable to link high-density patch panels across large facilities. The pre-terminated LC connectors on both ends plug directly into cassettes or adapter panels, eliminating field splicing and reducing installation time.

Key specifications

• Fire performance: Dca (CPR)
• Cable construction: U-DQ ZN BH, central tube, dry water-blocking, non-metallic strain relief
• Jacket color: Aqua
• Maximum attenuation: 2.3 dB/km at 850 nm, 0.6 dB/km at 1300 nm
• Effective modal bandwidth (EMB): 4700 MHz·km at 850 nm
• Overfilled launch bandwidth: 500 MHz·km at 1300 nm
• Application: Indoor/outdoor

Why choose it

The OM4 grade supports 10G, 40G, and 100G Ethernet up to 150 meters using 850 nm VCSELs, making it suitable for backbone and aggregation links. The LSZH sheath emits low smoke and no halogen gases in a fire, critical for enclosed spaces. The Dca rating confirms compliance with EU CPR for fire performance.

Ideal use cases

• Data center backbone cabling between distribution areas
• Enterprise campus links between buildings
• High-density fiber patching in colocation facilities
• Pre-terminated trunk for rapid deployment in structured cabling

Good to know

The central tube design with dry water-blocking allows outdoor use in ducts or direct burial, while the non-metallic construction avoids grounding issues. The aqua jacket is standard for OM4 identification.
