Connect high-speed 10/40/100 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centers and enterprise networks with this Ekivalan OM5 duplex fiber patch cable. The 0.5 m lime green LSZH cable features SC connectors on both ends and supports multimode transmission over 50/125 µm fiber.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connector 1: SC
• Connector 2: SC
• Connector polish: UPC
• Jacket material: LSZH
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Insertion loss: < 0.3 dB

Why choose it

OM5 fiber supports short-wavelength division multiplexing, enabling higher bandwidth over existing multimode infrastructure. The lime green jacket identifies OM5 per industry standards, and LSZH material reduces toxic smoke in case of fire.

Ideal use cases

• 10GBASE-SR, 40GBASE-SR4, 100GBASE-SR4 links
• Data center server-to-switch connections
• High-density fiber patching in racks

Good to know

Duplex configuration provides two fibers for bidirectional communication. UPC polish minimizes back reflections for reliable signal integrity.
