Ekivalan cavo patch in fibra ottica OM2 duplex LC/SC 50/125 µm arancione 50 m COZ050DCLC2SO0500A

Network technicians in data centres and enterprise LANs use this 50-metre duplex fibre patch cable to link LC-equipped switches to SC patch panels. The OM2 multimode core supports Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances, making it a practical choice for backbone connections within a building.

Key specifications

• Storage temperature: -40°C to +85°C
• Polarity: A-B (crossed)

Why choose it

The LC/SC combination is common in structured cabling systems, and the orange jacket allows quick identification of OM2 fibre. The duplex construction provides two fibres in one cable for bidirectional communication, and the PVC jacket offers flexibility for routing in tight spaces.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting switches to fibre distribution panels in data centres
• Extending backbone links between floors in office buildings
• Testing and temporary patching in network labs

Good to know

OM2 fibre supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 82 metres at 850 nm, so this 50-metre cable is within the supported distance. The crossed polarity ensures correct transmit/receive alignment when connecting equipment with different connector types.
