Equip Cavo patch in fibra ottica SC/SC – OM1/OM2, 1,0 m, 62,5/125 µm

The Equip SC/SC Fiber Optic Patch Cord is a single-mode patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in networking environments. With SC connectors on both ends and a length of 1.0 m, this patch cord uses OM1/OM2 multimode fiber with a 62.5/125 µm core/cladding specification to support full-duplex links and standard short-reach applications.

Advantages

The cable is manufactured from quality materials to maintain low insertion loss and good return loss, while connector endface geometry is controlled for consistent mating performance. Available in standardized length and connector format, it offers straightforward compatibility with SC-terminated equipment and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Short-reach multimode links in LANs and data centers
• Connecting switches, transceivers and patch panels with SC interfaces
• Structured cabling and equipment rack patching

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dirt or damage before installation. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or device port until it latches. For best performance, use appropriate cable management to avoid tight bends and secure the cable to reduce strain on the connectors. Follow standard optical handling practices when connecting or disconnecting the patch cord.

Recommendations

Use the patch cord in environments compatible with OM1/OM2 multimode fiber; avoid exceeding bend radius limits and protect connector endfaces with dust caps when not connected to preserve optical performance.
