EXERTIS CONNECT Cavo patch Cat.6A S/FTP, 20 m, grigio 857780

Network administrators and IT technicians who need a reliable, high-performance link between patch panels and active equipment in data centres or office networks will appreciate this 20-metre Cat.6A patch cable. Its S/FTP shielding with PIMF construction keeps crosstalk and interference low, so 10 Gigabit Ethernet runs stay stable even in dense racks.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A (Class EA)
• Shielding: S/FTP (PIMF)
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Grey
• Connector: RJ45 to RJ45, 50µ gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: Copper, AWG 26/7 stranded
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Bandwidth: up to 500 MHz
• Data rate: 10 Gbps (10GBase-T)
• Wiring: TIA/EIA 568B
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, EIA/TIA 568-C
• Flame retardancy: IEC 60332-1
• Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C
• Boot: slim, moulded, bend protection

Why choose it

The slim strain-relief boot is designed to fit into high-density patch panels where space is tight, and the LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke in case of fire. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain signal integrity over many mating cycles.

Ideal use cases

• Data centre patching between servers and switches
• Office structured cabling for 10GBase-T
• Longer runs in server rooms or between rooms

Good to know

This cable is built with stranded copper conductors for flexibility, making it easier to route through cable management. The S/FTP shielding provides excellent protection against alien crosstalk, which is critical for Cat.6A performance.
