Exertis Connect cavo patch in fibra ottica ST/UPC su SC/UPC monomodale duplex, 2m, OS2, LSZH, giallo 392882

Network technicians in data centers and enterprise LANs use this 2-meter duplex fiber patch cable to link ST and SC ports on patch panels, switches, and media converters. The singlemode OS2 fiber supports long-reach links, while the yellow LSZH jacket meets low-smoke, halogen-free requirements for enclosed spaces.

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Fiber type: Singlemode OS2 (ITU G.652.D)
• Core/cladding: 9/125 µm
• Connectors: ST/UPC to SC/UPC
• Construction: Duplex (2 fibers)
• Cable diameter: 2 mm
• Jacket: LSZH, yellow
• Insertion loss: < 0.3 dB
• Return loss: > 50 dB
• Operating temperature: -20°C to 70°C

Why choose it

UPC polished connectors ensure low back reflection, critical for high-speed singlemode links. The halogen-free jacket reduces toxic smoke in fire conditions, making it suitable for public buildings and confined areas. The 2mm diameter balances flexibility with durability for structured cabling.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting legacy ST equipment to modern SC infrastructure
• FTTx and telecom room interconnects
• Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over singlemode fiber

Good to know

OS2 fiber supports wavelengths up to 1550 nm, enabling long-distance transmission. The duplex design carries both transmit and receive signals in a single cable assembly.
