Extender di rete Renkforce RF-3684876 a 2 fili, portata max. 300 m, 200 MBit/s

The Renkforce RF-3684876 Network Extender is a 2-wire solution for extending Ethernet connections over existing two-core cabling. It enables wired network links at distances up to 300 m and supports data throughput up to 200 MBit/s, allowing devices that require stable Ethernet connectivity to be connected without installing new Ethernet cabling. The device is intended for point-to-point extension over paired conductor installations common in buildings where running new network cables is impractical.

Advantages

The extender delivers a reliable wired connection over existing two-core lines, offering extended reach up to 300 m while preserving usable bandwidth of up to 200 MBit/s. It fits into installations where only simple conductor pairs are available and reduces the need for additional infrastructure work. The unit supports consistent throughput suitable for many network devices and minimizes signal loss over medium distances compared with standard Ethernet cabling limitations.

Suitable for

• Connecting IP cameras at extended distances where Cat5/6 cable cannot be run
• Providing Ethernet to wireless access points in older buildings using existing two-core wiring
• Extending office or home LAN segments to remote rooms or outbuildings over existing conductor pairs
• Linking networked devices in installations where introducing new Ethernet cabling is impractical or cost-prohibitive

Key specifications

• Transmission medium: two-core copper wiring
• Maximum range: up to 300 m (distance may vary with cable type and environment)
• Data throughput: up to 200 MBit/s
• Interface: Ethernet connection on network side
• Operation: point-to-point extension over paired conductors

How to use

Install one extender unit near the network source (switch or router) and the matching unit near the remote device. Connect the Ethernet port of the source device to the extender’s network interface, and connect the remote extender to the client device via Ethernet. Use the existing two-core cabling to link the two extender units following the manufacturer’s wiring polarity guidance. Power each unit as specified and verify link activity and throughput after installation. Ensure both ends are configured and powered before testing the connection with the intended network devices.

Recommendations

For stable performance, use well-maintained two-core copper wiring with minimal damage or corrosion. Keep the extender units away from strong electromagnetic interference sources and avoid running the two-core cable alongside high-voltage power lines. Test throughput and signal stability after installation, and consider cable replacement or rerouting if performance is below expected levels for your devices.
