Fineliner Staedtler Pigment Liner 308 nero

The Staedtler Pigment Liner 308 Black is a fine black fineliner crafted for precise, detailed writing and drawing. Its fine tip delivers consistent, micro-fine lines suitable for technical sketches, ink illustrations, note-taking and annotation. The pigment-based ink is water-resistant and quick-drying, helping to reduce smudging and ensuring clean reproducible lines on paper. Supplied as a single pen, this compact instrument fits comfortably in pencil cases, sketchbooks and tool rolls for reliable everyday use.

Advantages

The fineliner provides a steady ink flow that supports uniform line quality across long writing or drawing sessions. Its fine tip produces crisp contours and detailed hatching while resisting fraying; the pigment ink dries quickly and resists bleeding on most common papers. The lightweight, balanced barrel offers comfortable handling for sustained work, and the cap secures the tip when stored or carried.

Suitable for

• Technical drawing and architectural sketches
• Ink illustrations, comics and line art
• Note-taking, journaling and annotation
• Precise labeling and diagramming

Key specifications

• Tip type: fine/needle nib for micro-fine lines
• Ink: pigment-based, water-resistant and quick-drying
• Color: black
• Barrel: lightweight, straight design for balanced grip
• Pack size: single pen

How to use

Remove the cap and hold the pen at a comfortable angle to the paper, applying light steady pressure to produce consistent fine lines. For drawing or technical work, use the tip gently to avoid unnecessary wear; for darker or broader strokes, increase pressure slightly or use multiple passes. Replace the cap after use to protect the tip and maintain ink quality. Store the pen horizontally or with the tip up if not in use for extended periods.

Recommendations

Use suitable paper with moderate tooth to prevent ink feathering; avoid overly absorbent or highly textured surfaces for best results. To preserve the tip, avoid pressing excessively and keep the cap on when not in use. For archival work, combine the pigment liner with compatible archival inks or fixatives if required by the project.
