GoodConnections Alcasa LW-802PT Cavo patch in fibra ottica 2m 12x ST turchese (LW-802PT)

Fibre optic links often suffer from signal loss, electromagnetic interference, and limited bandwidth—especially in demanding industrial or office environments. The GoodConnections Alcasa LW-802PT solves these challenges with a robust, high-performance multimode patch cable that ensures stable, high-speed data transmission over short distances. Its turquoise LSZH jacket not only meets strict fire safety standards but also makes cable identification quick and easy.

Who is it for

This cable is ideal for network administrators, IT technicians, and system integrators who need reliable fibre connections in data centres, enterprise networks, or industrial settings. It suits anyone upgrading to fibre or maintaining existing ST-terminated multimode infrastructure.

Main features

• Duplex multimode OM2 fibre with 50/125 µm core/cladding for 1 Gbps Ethernet up to 550 m at 850 nm.
• ST to ST connectors with precision ceramic ferrules for low insertion loss (≤0.3 dB) and high return loss (≥30 dB).
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket in turquoise—emits minimal smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire.
• 2-metre length with 3.0 mm outer diameter, flexible and easy to route in tight spaces.
• Crossed (A-B) polarity ensures proper transmit/receive alignment in duplex links.
• Complies with IEC 60793-2-10, ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173-1, and TIA/EIA-568-C.3 standards.

Tips

Always inspect and clean ST connector end faces before installation to prevent contamination and signal degradation. Use dust caps when the cable is not connected. For best performance, avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius (typically 10x the cable diameter).
