Good Connections Cat.7 S/FTP cavo patch, LSZH, verde, 30 m

In a busy office or data center, a network engineer runs a 30-meter link between a patch panel and a server rack, relying on this green Cat.7 cable to maintain 10 Gigabit throughput without interference. The Good Connections 8070R-300G delivers exactly that: a robust, shielded patch cable built for high-speed, long-distance connections.

Key specifications

• Category 7 (Cat.7) performance, 600 MHz bandwidth
• S/FTP PIMF shielding: overall braid plus individual foil per pair
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket, green colour
• 30 m length, stranded copper conductors (AWG 26/7)
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors on both ends
• Supports 10GBASE-T, PoE, PoE+, and 4PPoE Type 4
• Halogen-free and flame retardant
• Compliant with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, TIA/EIA-568-C.2

Why choose it

This cable eliminates crosstalk and external noise thanks to its S/FTP construction, ensuring stable 10 Gbps links even in electrically noisy environments. The LSZH jacket is a safety advantage in public buildings, producing low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire. Its stranded conductors make it flexible enough for tight bends behind racks, while the gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain reliable connectivity over years of use.

Ideal use cases

• Data center interconnects between switches, servers, and patch panels
• Office LAN backbone runs up to 30 meters
• High-density PoE device connections (IP cameras, access points)
• Industrial or healthcare facilities requiring halogen-free cabling

Good to know

The cable has an outer diameter of approximately 6.5 mm, making it manageable in cable trays and conduits. It is fully backward compatible with Cat.6a, Cat.6, and lower categories, so it works with existing equipment while future-proofing your network for 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
