Good Connections cavo patch Cat. 5e SF/UTP, RJ45, rosso, 2 m 855R-020

This red 2-metre patch cable from Good Connections stands out with its SF/UTP shielding—combining an overall braided screen with a foil wrap around each twisted pair. That dual-layer protection goes beyond standard unshielded cables, keeping crosstalk and electromagnetic interference away from your Gigabit Ethernet signals. The result is a stable, full-speed link for demanding LAN tasks, whether you are connecting a workstation, a switch port, or a PoE-powered device.

Highlights

• Cat. 5e performance up to 100 MHz, certified for Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbps).
• SF/UTP construction: braided screen plus foil per pair for superior noise immunity.
• Stranded copper conductors with gold-plated RJ45 contacts for reliable, corrosion-resistant connections.
• Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so one cable can carry both data and power.
• Flexible PVC jacket in a distinctive red colour for easy identification and routing.

In daily use

At 2 metres, this cable is ideal for patching between a wall outlet and a desktop, linking a router to a switch, or tidying up a server rack without excess slack. The red jacket makes it simple to trace connections in crowded installations, while the stranded conductors stay flexible even when bent around corners. Because it is backward compatible with Cat. 5 and Cat. 3 networks, you can use it in mixed environments without worrying about compatibility.

Final note

For installations where interference is a concern—near power lines, industrial equipment, or dense cable bundles—the SF/UTP shielding of this Good Connections patch cable provides an extra margin of reliability that basic Cat. 5e cables cannot match.
