GoodConnections RNS® Cat. 6 S/FTP PiMF cavo patch PVC con protezione anti-piega, giallo, 50 m

Network administrators and IT technicians often need to run reliable Ethernet connections over longer distances in offices, server rooms, or industrial environments. The GoodConnections RNS® Cat. 6 patch cable delivers exactly that: a 50-metre yellow cable engineered for stable Gigabit performance. Its snagless protection prevents the locking tab from breaking during frequent plugging and unplugging, making it ideal for patch panels, switches, and structured cabling systems.

Key specifications

• Category 6 performance with 250 MHz bandwidth
• S/FTP shielding: overall braided screen plus foil around each twisted pair (PiMF)
• PVC jacket for durability and flexibility
• Length: 50 metres
• Colour: yellow for high visibility
• RJ45 male to RJ45 male connectors with gold-plated contacts
• Snagless design (RNS® Rastnasenschutz) protects the locking tab
• Stranded copper conductors for better flexibility
• Supports data transfer rates up to 1 Gbps (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Compatible with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T networks

Why choose it

This cable is built to handle the demands of high-speed networking while reducing crosstalk and interference thanks to its S/FTP construction. The PiMF shielding ensures each pair is individually foiled, providing excellent signal integrity even in electrically noisy environments. The yellow jacket makes cable identification and tracing easy in crowded racks or cable trays. The snagless boot adds durability, preventing accidental damage to the connector clip during installation or maintenance.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers to switches in data centres
• Long-distance runs between floors or across rooms in office buildings
• Industrial Ethernet applications where interference is a concern
• Structured cabling systems requiring Cat. 6 performance
• Temporary setups for events or testing where cable visibility is important

Good to know

The cable meets TIA/EIA 568B wiring standards and has an impedance of 100 Ohm. It is not halogen-free, so it is best suited for areas where LSZH is not required. The stranded conductors make it more flexible than solid-core cables, which is advantageous for patch cord use. With a length of 50 metres, it offers ample reach for most professional installations without the need for couplers or extensions.
