Guida per server ROLINE 26.21.0022 — 2U (2 HE) profondità 550 mm, portata 25 kg, grigio

ROLINE 26.21.0022 is a fixed 2U (2 HE) server shelf designed for standard 19-inch racks. With a depth of 550 mm and a rated load capacity of 25 kg, the shelf provides a stable, compact platform for mounting networking equipment, small servers, power distribution units (PDUs) and peripheral devices. Its gray finish and rigid construction make it suitable for organised installations in IT rooms, server cabinets and network closets where space efficiency and reliable support are required.

Advantages

The shelf combines a compact 2U profile with a 550 mm usable depth, enabling accommodation of a wide range of devices while conserving rack space. A 25 kg load rating offers dependable support for moderate-weight equipment, and the fixed mounting design minimises movement and vibration. The neutral gray colour integrates with common rack aesthetics and helps maintain an orderly equipment layout.

Suitable for

• Mounting small rack servers and network switches
• Installing PDUs, external storage or backup devices
• Hosting peripherals such as KVM extenders, modems or media converters
• Temporary staging of equipment during maintenance or upgrades

Key specifications

• Rack units: 2U (2 HE)
• Compatible rack width: 19-inch
• Depth: 550 mm
• Maximum load capacity: 25 kg
• Mounting type: fixed shelf for rack installation
• Finish: gray

How to use

Install the shelf into a 19-inch rack by aligning the mounting holes with the rack’s vertical rails and fastening with appropriate rack screws or cage nuts. Place equipment on the shelf so that weight is evenly distributed across the surface and close to the rear or front mounting points as appropriate for stability. Ensure power and network cabling are routed to avoid strain on connectors and to maintain airflow within the cabinet.

Recommendations

Confirm the combined weight of devices does not exceed the 25 kg rating and leave clearance for ventilation around heat-generating equipment. Use proper rack hardware and, where available, install additional support brackets for irregularly shaped or off-center loads. For critical installations, consider securing devices to the shelf with straps or fasteners to prevent movement during maintenance.
