Hama TAE N/F - US 6p6c TAE-F M F Jack 6p6c nero

The Hama TAE N/F - US 6p6c Connector (Hama 44499) is a compact adapter that connects devices with a German TAE-F modular plug to equipment using a US 6p6c (RJ11-like) F jack. Finished in black, it provides a simple, passive interface for linking telephones, answering machines, fax devices and other telephony equipment between TAE and 6p6c ports.

Advantages

This adapter supports a direct mechanical connection between TAE-F M plugs and F Jack 6p6c sockets without requiring tools or wiring changes. Its universal TAE construction allows compatibility with N- or F-coded TAE sockets, while the compact black housing is convenient for desktop or wall-mounted setups. The passive design ensures no power or signal conversion, maintaining original device signalling characteristics.

Suitable for

• Connecting phones with TAE-F plugs to devices or wall jacks with 6p6c (US) sockets
• Linking answering machines and fax machines between TAE and 6p6c interfaces
• Temporary or permanent connections in home and small office telephony setups

For wall-mounted sockets, align the coded TAE position (N or F) as needed to match the wall outlet.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for signal-level telephony connections only; it does not convert line voltage or signalling standards. Avoid exposing the adapter to moisture and excessive mechanical stress. If call features or line quality differ after connecting, verify wiring and compatibility of the connected devices.
