Hub USB Exsys EX-12276HMS — hub USB 3.2 Gen 2 16 porte con 16 connettori USB-C

Exsys EX-12276HMS — 16-port USB hub with sixteen USB-C connectors supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates. The device is intended to expand the number of high-speed USB-C connections on a computer, workstation or docking configuration, enabling simultaneous connection of multiple external drives, peripherals and charging-capable devices. The hub is built for environments that require many rear- or front-facing USB-C ports such as offices, laboratories, media production setups and shared workspaces.

Advantages

The hub offers sixteen USB-C output ports that adhere to USB 3.2 Gen 2 specifications, providing high-bandwidth connection for external storage and peripherals. It consolidates multiple device connections into a single host interface, reducing cable clutter and simplifying cable management. The symmetrical USB-C connectors facilitate quick plug-in of modern devices and enable concurrent data transfer on all ports. The product is designed for continuous multi-device operation and desktop integration.

Suitable for

• Connecting multiple external SSDs or HDDs for backup and transfer tasks
• Expanding port availability for workstations and docking stations
• Use in collaborative offices and shared workspaces with many USB-C devices
• Media production environments requiring simultaneous transfers from multiple drives
• Laboratory setups where several instruments or measurement devices use USB-C

Key specifications

• Number of ports: 16 USB-C connectors
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps per port theoretical maximum)
• Connector type: Reversible USB-C female ports
• Host interface: Single upstream connection to host computer (type dependent on implementation)
• Form factor: Desktop hub intended for rack or desk placement
• Power: External power required to support multiple devices (power adapter not detailed here)

How to use

Connect the hub to the host computer using the upstream interface provided by the product. Attach the external power supply before connecting multiple powered devices if the hub includes a separate power input. Plug USB-C devices into the available ports; devices should be recognized by the host operating system according to standard USB enumeration. For high-speed transfers, connect drives and host ports that support USB 3.2 Gen 2. Monitor device status and host notifications to ensure proper enumeration and safe removal when disconnecting storage devices.

Recommendations

For stable multi-device performance, use an appropriate external power supply and connect high-bandwidth peripherals to ports on hosts that explicitly support USB 3.2 Gen 2. Avoid disconnecting storage devices during active transfers and follow the operating system's safe eject procedure to prevent data loss. Place the hub on a flat, ventilated surface and route cables to minimize strain on USB-C connectors.
