INFRALAN A-DQ(ZN)B2Y OS2 4E (1x4) Fca 2000N nero 5,8mm G657A1 cavo in fibra ottica A4S2F1

Outdoor fibre optic installations demand a cable that can withstand high mechanical stress and harsh environmental conditions without compromising signal integrity. The INFRALAN A-DQ(ZN)B2Y OS2 4E cable solves this by combining bend-insensitive G.657.A1 singlemode fibres with a robust 2000 N tensile strength and a UV-resistant black PE sheath.

Who is it for

Network installers and infrastructure planners who need a reliable, gel-free outdoor cable for duct or direct burial applications. It is suitable for backbone links, campus networks, and long-distance connections where durability and low attenuation are critical.

Main features

• 4 OS2 singlemode fibres compliant with ITU-T G.657.A1 for bend-insensitive performance
• Central loose tube construction with dry core (gel-free) for faster, cleaner splicing
• Non-metallic strain relief using glass yarns, providing 2000 N tensile strength
• Black PE outer sheath with 5.8 mm diameter, UV-resistant for outdoor use
• CPR fire rating Fca (EN 50575) for compliance with European building regulations

Tips

When installing, observe the minimum bend radius specified for G.657.A1 fibres to avoid microbending losses. The dry core design eliminates the need for gel cleaning, reducing preparation time at splice points.
