Cavo in fibra ottica ROLINE 21.15.9273 3 m LC verde

The ROLINE 21.15.9273 3 m LC Green is an OM5 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for short-distance, high-bandwidth links, this green-coloured cable provides consistent signal quality for data centre interconnects, server-to-switch connections and structured cabling environments where multimode performance is required. Its 3 m length balances reach and manageability for typical rack and cabinet layouts.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre cable supports high-speed multimode transmission over a 50 µm core, enabling reliable performance for modern networking equipment. The LC connectors ensure compact, stable connections suitable for dense patch panels and transceiver modules. Colour coding in green simplifies identification and cable management in complex installations, reducing the risk of mispatching. The cable construction provides consistent attenuation and repeatable connection characteristics for predictable network behaviour.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and inter-rack connections
• Connections between switches, servers and storage arrays
• Structured cabling in enterprise and campus networks
• Short-distance high-bandwidth links requiring OM5 multimode fibre

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Green
• Application: Multimode short-range, high-bandwidth links

How to use

Route the 3 m LC–LC OM5 fibre between compatible LC transceivers or LC ports on patch panels, switches and servers. Before insertion, inspect and, if necessary, clean LC connector end-faces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools to prevent signal loss. Gently insert each LC connector until it clicks into the port and secure the cable to cable management fixtures to avoid excessive bending or strain. When disconnecting, press the LC latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the connector or port.

Recommendations

Maintain a minimum bend radius as specified by standard multimode fibre guidelines to prevent microbending loss; avoid tight loops and ensure connectors are capped when not in use. Use cable ties or Velcro straps for organised routing and label both ends to facilitate future maintenance. Verify compatibility of transceivers and equipment with OM5 multimode fibre and test the link after installation using appropriate fibre test equipment.
