InLine 74902M cavo di rete magenta 2 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

Space-saving design for maximum port density: Approx. 40 % less space required than conventional AWG26 patch cables – ideal for network cabinets and server rooms.
High-quality copper conductors for maximum performance: Full Cat.6A transmission quality with up to 10 Gbit/s over lengths of up to 30 meters.
PoE support up to 87 watts (4PPoE): Enables energy-efficient operation of IP cameras, access points or VoIP telephones without additional power supply units.
Sustainable & economical: Approx. 25% material savings reduce transportation and manufacturing costs and improve the CO2 balance.
Flexible, safe TPE sheath (LSZH): Flame-retardant, halogen-free and particularly flexible for narrow installation paths.

The InLine® Slim Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable seriescombines highest network performance with maximum space and energy efficiency. Thanks to the particularly slim design with AWG28 conductors, these cables enable a significantly higher port density in network cabinets and ensure improved air circulation, which increases cooling and efficiency.

In contrast to conventional, thinner AWG32 cables, this cable supports full Cat.6A transmission quality at up to 500 MHzand 4PPoEwith up to87 watts. This makes it the ideal solution for professional applications where a combination of space-saving, PoE capability and high performance is required.

The use of high-quality copper conductors minimizes signal loss and ensures a reliable network connection - even over distances of up to 30 metres. The S/FTP double shielding reliably protects the cable from electromagnetic interference.

In addition to its technical performance, this cable also offers ecological benefits: Approx. 25% less material usedreduces transportation costs and, in the long term, environmental taxes in accordance with future Green Law requirements.

The TPE sheath (LSZH)combines flexibility with fire protection: It is halogen-free, flame-retardant and ensures minimal smoke development in the event of fire – ideal for safety-critical applications.

InLine 74902M. Cable length: 2 m, Cable standard: Cat6a, Cable shielding: S/FTP (S-STP), Connector 1: RJ-45, Connector 2: RJ-45, Connector contacts plating: Gold, Data transfer rate: 10000 Mbit/s, Product colour: Magenta

How to use

Connect the RJ‑45 plug at each end to the corresponding network ports (switch, patch panel, NIC or PoE device). The cable is wired 1:1 following T568B and is suitable for standard Cat6A infrastructure. Avoid sharp bends below the specified bending radius and secure the cable in racks or cable management channels to maintain airflow and prevent strain on connectors. For PoE applications, ensure connected equipment supports 4PPoE if drawing the maximum power.

Recommendations

Use this slim Cat.6A S/FTP cable where high port density and PoE power delivery are required. For optimal performance, keep runs under 30 m for full 10 Gbit/s throughput and maintain proper cable routing to preserve shielding and cooling in dense installations.
