InLine cavo duplex in fibra ottica LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 20m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM3 20m is a multimode fiber cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. It features a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter and OM3 grading to support increased bandwidth for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other high-performance networking applications. The cable terminates with two LC connectors on one end and two SC connectors on the other to enable full duplex links between devices with differing connector types.

Advantages

This duplex fiber cable provides low insertion loss and stable signal integrity across its 20 m length. The OM3 multimode fiber optimizes modal bandwidth and is suitable for wavelength-division and high-speed digital communication. Dual LC and SC connectors deliver connector flexibility for patch panels, switches, and transceivers without the need for adapters. The cable jacket and connector strain relief are designed to support typical installation handling in office and residential environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, media converters, and transceivers with LC and SC ports
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within data centers, server rooms, or telecom closets
• Audio/video distribution and multimedia streaming over fiber networks
• LAN backbone segments and short-to-medium range fiber interconnects

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector configuration: Duplex (2 fibers)
• Connector types: 2× LC to 2× SC
• Length: 20 m
• Support: Designed for high-speed multimode applications including 10 GBASE-SR

How to use

Identify the LC and SC ports on your devices and orient connectors to match port alignment. Insert the LC connectors into LC ports and the SC connectors into SC ports until they click or seat firmly. Ensure both ends are clean and free from dust before connection; use appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable without tight bends—maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius—and secure it with cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors during operation.

Recommendations

To preserve performance, always inspect and clean fiber end faces before mating, avoid sharp bends or kinks, and protect connector ferrules when the cable is not in use. Use this OM3 duplex cable for short-to-medium distance multimode networks and pair it with compatible OM3-rated transceivers and patch panels to achieve expected bandwidth and link stability.
