Kabelmeister cavo patch Cat.7 S/FTP, RJ45, TPE, senza alogeni, rosso, 0,15 m

In a crowded server room, a technician reaches for a patch cable that can handle 10 Gigabit Ethernet without breaking a sweat. The Kabelmeister Cat.7 S/FTP patch cable delivers exactly that—a short, highly flexible link between switch and patch panel, built for dense, high-speed environments. Its red TPE jacket stands out for quick identification, while the halogen-free construction keeps emissions low in case of fire.

Key specifications

• Category 7 (Cat.7) performance, 600 MHz bandwidth
• S/FTP shielding: individually foiled pairs plus overall braid
• Supports 10GBASE-T (10 Gigabit Ethernet)
• Length: 0.15 m – perfect for tight patching
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, gold-plated (50µ")
• Jacket: highly flexible TPE, halogen-free (LSZH)
• Conductor: stranded copper, AWG 26/7
• Wiring: TIA/EIA 568B, molded snagless boots
• Compliant with RoHS and REACH

Why choose it

The combination of Cat.7 performance and a short length makes this cable ideal for high-density patching where signal integrity matters. The S/FTP shielding rejects electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliable 10G links even in noisy racks. The TPE jacket stays flexible in tight bends and is free of halogens, reducing toxic smoke in fire scenarios—a smart choice for modern data centers and office networks.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers to switches in 10G Ethernet setups
• Patch panel to switch connections in structured cabling
• High-speed workstation links where space is limited
• Rack installations requiring color-coded cable management

Good to know

This cable is backward compatible with Cat.6a, Cat.6, Cat.5e, and lower categories, so it works with existing equipment. The gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and ensure consistent connectivity. With a length of just 0.15 m, it minimizes cable clutter and improves airflow in densely packed racks.
