This rack mount kit offers robust metal construction and precise mounting alignment to ensure devices remain stable during operation. Its grey finish provides a neutral, professional look that integrates with existing rack equipment. The kit is engineered to fit Allied Telesis devices with compatible chassis mounting patterns, reducing installation time and the need for adapters. Designed for standard 19-inch racks, it supports consistent positioning and straightforward cable management.

Suitable for

• Mounting compatible Allied Telesis switches and network appliances in 19-inch racks
• Data center server cabinets and telecommunications racks
• Closet or wall-mounted rack enclosures used in small to medium business networks
• Environments requiring secure, fixed installation of networking hardware

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for Allied Telesis devices with matching chassis mounting points and 19-inch rack standard
• Finish: grey coating for consistent visual integration with rack equipment
• Material: durable metal construction to support device weight and resist deformation
• Mounting: includes brackets and hardware necessary for standard rack installation
• Form factor: fits standard 19-inch rack rails and preserves front-facing access to device ports

How to use

Attach the included brackets to the sides of the device using the provided screws, aligning holes in the bracket with the chassis mounting points. Position the device within the 19-inch rack and secure the brackets to the rack rails with the appropriate fasteners. Verify that the device is level and firmly supported, then route network and power cabling to maintain adequate airflow and service access. If needed, adjust bracket placement to match the depth of the rack and ensure clearance for adjacent equipment.

Recommendations

Confirm that the device model is compatible with the kit’s mounting pattern before installation. Use appropriate torque on fasteners to avoid overtightening, and ensure rack load distribution follows your data center or site guidelines. For optimal cable management and cooling, leave recommended clearance above and below the mounted device.
