KWB set di carta abrasiva 812319 — fogli 280×230 mm, grana 60, 80, 150, 180

KWB Sanding Paper Set 812319 contains sanding sheets sized 280×230 mm in four abrasive grades: 60, 80, 150 and 180. The set is designed for both manual and orbital sanding and provides a progression from coarse stock removal to fine finishing. Sheets are suitable for use on wood, painted surfaces and filler, making the set appropriate for renovation, carpentry and surface preparation tasks where matching grit progression is required.

Advantages

The variety of grits in the set allows efficient transition from heavy material removal to fine smoothing without changing sheet format. The 280×230 mm size fits most hand sanding blocks and many orbital sanders with sheet clamps or adapters. Abrasive grades 60 and 80 enable fast removal of old paint, varnish or uneven wood, while 150 and 180 offer controlled smoothing and preparation for painting or varnishing. The sheets maintain consistent abrasive performance throughout typical use and are easy to tear off cleanly to size when working on edges or detailed areas.

How to use

Select the appropriate grit for the task, starting with grit 60 or 80 for coarse removal and progressing to 150 and 180 for smoothing and finishing. Attach the sheet to a hand sanding block or secure it on an orbital sander according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Sand along the grain on wood surfaces and use even pressure to avoid creating dips or scratches. Replace or switch to a finer grit as the surface evens out and reaches the desired smoothness.

Recommendations

For best results, begin with coarser grits to remove material efficiently, then follow with progressively finer sheets to achieve a smooth, paint-ready surface. Use dust extraction or a vacuum where possible to reduce abrasive clogging and protect respiratory health. When working on painted or varnished surfaces, test a small area first to determine the correct starting grit and avoid over-sanding thin coatings.
