Cavo di rete EFB Elektronik I-V(ZN)H 2G 50/125µ 2,8 mm OM4 viola erica

The EFB Elektronik I-V(ZN)H 2G 50/125µ 2.8mm OM4 Erikaviolett is an indoor, non-metallic, halogen-free patch and adapter cable designed for tertiary cabling and fiber-to-the-desk (FTTD) installations. With a 50/125 µm core and OM4 multimode specification, and a compact 2.8 mm outer diameter, this cable is intended for working-area connections where low attenuation and high bandwidth are required.

Advantages

This OM4 fiber cable offers high bandwidth capacity and low signal loss due to its 50/125 µm core and multimode design. The non-metallic, halogen-free construction reduces fire hazard and smoke emission in indoor environments. The 2.8 mm outer diameter and two-fiber configuration simplify routing in crowded ducts and enable neat field installation with compatible connectors. Its Erikaviolett color allows quick visual identification in patching fields.

Suitable for

• Working-area horizontal cabling in offices and commercial buildings
• Fiber-to-the-desk (FTTD) connections
• Patch and adapter cable use in data centers and wiring closets
• Indoor installations requiring halogen-free, non-metallic cabling

Key specifications

• Brand: EFB Elektronik
• Model / MPN: 56005.4
• EAN: 4049759179939
• Fiber type: 50/125 µm multimode (OM4)
• Number of fibers: 2
• Outer diameter: 2.8 mm
• Application: Indoor, tertiary (horizontal) cabling, FTTD, patch/adapter cable

How to use

Install the cable following standard indoor cabling practices: route the cable through cable trays or ducts to the working area, avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress. Terminate the fiber ends with compatible field-installable connectors or factory-made pigtails, and test insertion loss and continuity after installation. Use the two-fiber configuration for simplex or duplex links as required by the network design.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in environments within the manufacturer's recommended temperature and humidity ranges. Maintain minimum bend radius according to OM4 fiber specifications, and use appropriate fiber cleaning and testing equipment to ensure reliable connections.
