Lindy 45623 Cavo di rete rosso 2 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

Cat.6 S/FTP networking cable with RJ-45 connectors, 2 m length and support for frequencies up to 250 MHz. The Lindy 45623 cable is manufactured to ISO/IEC 11801 and designed for Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T(X)). It features a braid overall shield and foil shields for each pair (S/FTP), a halogen-free LSZH outer sheath and gold-plated contacts for long-term, corrosion-resistant connections.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable high-speed data transfer at Gigabit Ethernet rates. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The snagless strain-relief design protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke emission and avoids toxic halogen gases, making the cable suitable for public and enclosed spaces.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (10/100/1000Base-T(X))
• AV extension and professional networking installations
• Office and home network connections requiring shielded cabling
• Environments where low-smoke, halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Connectors: RJ-45 — gold plated contacts
• Length: 2 m
• Colours: Red
• Data rates: suitable for 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; the S/FTP shielding helps but good routing preserves signal integrity. No special tooling is required for normal use.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor networking and AV use. For best performance, avoid excessive bending radii and physical stress on the connectors; if installing in public or enclosed buildings, the LSZH sheath reduces smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire.
