Lindy 47564 Cavo di rete bianco 5 m Cat6 U/FTP (STP)

The Lindy RJ45 Cat.6 U/FTP 5m White is a Category 6 network cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections up to gigabit speeds. The cable measures 5 meters and uses a U/FTP (unshielded overall with foil individually shielded pairs) construction to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and is suitable for common home and office networking setups where a white finish blends with interior spaces.

Advantages

The U/FTP design reduces pair-to-pair interference and improves signal integrity compared with unshielded cables, which helps maintain stable data transmission. Category 6 specification supports higher frequencies and better performance for gigabit Ethernet. RJ-45 terminated ends ensure compatibility with a wide range of routers, switches, patch panels and network devices. The 5 m length provides flexibility for most desktop-to-wall outlet or equipment-to-switch connections while the white outer jacket offers a discreet appearance in residential and commercial environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, printers or network equipment to routers and switches within a room
• Patch panel to switch connections in small office networks
• Home networking where a 5 m cable run is required
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Identify the network ports on your devices and ensure power is off for equipment where recommended. Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the source device and the other connector into the destination device until the latch clicks into place. For patch panels or switches, align the connector and press firmly until it engages. Check link/activity LEDs on devices to confirm a successful physical connection. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and place it away from sources of strong electromagnetic noise when possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or large electrical equipment. Use the 5 m length to keep connections tidy and minimise excess slack; if longer or shielded runs are required in noisy environments, consider higher-grade cabling or additional grounding measures. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the outer jacket or connectors are compromised.
