Lucchetto per bici a catena MANTA XR00LC01 6x900mm

The Chain Bicycle Lock MANTA XR00LC01 6x900mm is a compact security accessory designed for everyday use with bicycles, scooters and similar personal transport devices. It combines a metal chain and a locking mechanism in a portable length intended for securing a frame and wheel to a fixed object. The product name and dimensions indicate a chain thickness of approximately 6 mm and a total length of 900 mm, providing a balance between portability and basic theft deterrence.

Advantages

This chain lock offers straightforward mechanical protection that is easy to carry and use. Its 6x900mm size makes it suitable for urban commuters who need a lock that fits in a bag or can be wrapped around a bicycle frame. The metal chain construction provides resistance to casual tampering while the integrated locking mechanism allows for quick fastening and release without auxiliary tools.

Suitable for

• Securing bicycles in low- to medium-risk urban environments
• Locking scooters or foldable bikes for short stops
• Supplementary security for wheels or frames when combined with additional locks

Key specifications

• Chain thickness: 6 mm (nominal)
• Overall chain length: 900 mm
• Construction: metal chain with integrated lock
• Use type: manual mechanical lock for outdoor personal transport

How to use

Wrap the chain around the bicycle frame and an immovable object (such as a bike rack or pillar) so both frame and at least one wheel are secured. Insert the chain end into the locking mechanism and engage the lock according to the provided key or combination method. Verify that the lock is fully engaged and that the chain position prevents easy leverage. Keep the key in a safe place or note the combination if applicable.

Recommendations

For improved security, use the chain lock together with an additional high-security U-lock or cable lock to protect both frame and wheels. Avoid leaving a bicycle locked in isolated or high-theft areas for extended periods. Regularly inspect the chain and lock for signs of wear or corrosion, and lubricate the locking mechanism occasionally to maintain smooth operation.
