Maniglia SCHROFF Multipac 20860-256, maniglia in plastica grigia 40×40×10 mm, accessorio di montaggio

SCHROFF Multipac 20860-256 is a low-profile grey plastic carrying and installation handle with external dimensions 40 × 40 × 10 mm. Designed as a compact mounting accessory for equipment enclosures, panels and small modules, the handle provides a simple grip point for lifting, positioning or fastening lightweight components in rack, chassis and industrial cabinet environments.

Advantages

The handle offers a compact footprint and a shallow profile that fits tight installation spaces. Molded from durable plastic, it is resistant to corrosion and reduces the risk of electrical conductivity compared with metal handles. Its neutral grey color integrates unobtrusively with common industrial and electronic housings. The design provides a reliable manual grip while keeping overall assembly depth minimal.

Suitable for

• Small modules and instrument panels in 19-inch racks and chassis
• Equipment housings and access panels requiring a low-profile grip
• Lightweight components that need occasional handling or repositioning

Key specifications

• Material: grey plastic
• External dimensions: 40 × 40 × 10 mm
• Type: carrying/installation handle, mounting accessory
• Finish: matte/neutral grey surface
• Application environment: racks, chassis, industrial cabinets

How to use

Install the handle onto the intended panel or module using the appropriate fasteners and mounting holes provided by the equipment design. Ensure alignment and secure attachment so the handle bears load evenly during lifting or repositioning. Use the handle as a manual grip for placing, removing or adjusting lightweight components; avoid using it as a lifting point for heavy loads beyond the capacity of the panel or fasteners.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with your enclosure mounting pattern and select suitable fasteners to match material thickness. Regularly inspect the handle and mounting points for signs of wear or loosening, and replace if cracked or deformed to maintain safe handling.
