Metro pieghevole STANLEY 0-35-458, legno, 2 m, 17 mm di larghezza, bianco/giallo

STANLEY 0-35-458 is a wooden folding ruler with a total length of 2 m and a 17 mm wide blade finished in white and yellow. The ruler folds into sections for compact storage and transport while providing stable, repeatable measurements on site. Its wooden construction reduces flex compared with thin metal tapes and supports accurate layout, marking and short-range measurement tasks in carpentry and general construction.

Advantages

The folding ruler combines a rigid wooden blade with a sectional folding mechanism that keeps measurement segments aligned for reliable readings. A 17 mm blade width offers clear, easy-to-read graduation and visual contrast from the white and yellow finish. The compact folded size improves portability and protects the scale during transport and storage. The simple mechanical joints require minimal maintenance and provide durability for typical workshop and site conditions.

How to use

Fully extend the ruler by unfolding the sections until each joint locks in line to obtain the 2 m measuring length. Place the ruler along the object or surface to be measured and align the zero mark with the starting point. Read the measurement directly from the graduated blade, keeping the ruler flat against the surface to minimize parallax. When finished, fold the sections back together in the reverse order to protect the graduations and reduce the tool’s size for storage or transport.

Recommendations

Store the folding ruler in a dry place to prevent swelling or warping of the wooden blade. Avoid exposing the tool to prolonged humidity or direct moisture. Clean the graduations gently with a soft cloth; do not use aggressive solvents. For the most accurate results, use the ruler on a flat surface and check joints regularly for secure alignment.
