METZ BTR 1308458033-E cavo patch Cat.6a S/FTP LSZH, 8 m, grigio, 10 Gbps

For high-density 10 Gigabit Ethernet links where signal integrity cannot be compromised, the METZ BTR 1308458033-E stands out with its S/FTP construction: each of the four pairs is individually wrapped in metal foil, then the entire bundle is protected by an overall braided shield. This dual-layer shielding rejects alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference far more effectively than standard UTP or single-shielded cables, making it a dependable choice for server rooms, industrial networks, and PoE-heavy installations. The 8-metre length bridges equipment across racks or between workstations without slack, while the 26 AWG stranded conductors keep the cable flexible enough for tight bends and repeated re-patching.

Highlights

• Cat.6a performance with 10GBASE-T support up to 500 MHz bandwidth
• S/FTP (PiMF) shielding: foil per pair plus overall braid for maximum noise immunity
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) grey jacket – safe for enclosed spaces, low toxic emissions in fire
• Stranded 26 AWG conductors for flexibility and easy routing
• 8.0 m length ideal for rack-to-rack, patch panel to switch, or long workstation runs
• Backward compatible with Cat.6, Cat.5e, and Cat.5 networks

In daily use

Each end is terminated with a robust RJ45 connector featuring gold-plated contacts for reliable, corrosion-resistant connections. The snagless boot design protects the locking tab during frequent plugging and unplugging, while the grey LSZH jacket remains pliable and easy to label. Whether you are upgrading an existing Gigabit link or building a new 10G backbone, this cable delivers consistent, error-free transmission with minimal packet loss. Its halogen-free construction also meets strict fire safety regulations for public buildings, data centres, and office environments.
