Microconnect FIB472003 cavo InfiniBand/fibra ottica 3 m LC E-2000 (LSH) giallo

The Microconnect FIB472003 is a 3 m single mode fibre optic cable designed for enterprise networks, telecom rooms, server farms and cloud storage networks. With OS2 single mode fibre (9 µm core) and LC to E-2000 (LSH) connectors, the cable supports full duplex transmission and is suitable for 1G/10G/40G/100G Ethernet links. It uses LSZH jacket materials and meets common industry standards for jumper cables. Typical optical reach is up to 10 km at 1310 nm and up to 40 km at 1550 nm.

Advantages

The cable combines OS2 single mode performance with LC and E-2000 (LSH) terminations for broad compatibility with networking equipment. Its 3 m length and yellow LSZH jacket provide easy identification and safe routing in indoor installations. The product's specifications make it suitable for high-speed Ethernet applications and long-distance signal transmission while conforming to standard manufacturing and safety requirements.

Suitable for

• Connecting 1G/10G/40G/100G Ethernet ports
• Interconnecting equipment in telecom rooms and data centres
• Linking servers and storage in server farms and cloud infrastructures
• Indoor fibre jumper and patch panel connections

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Fibre type: OS2 single mode (9 µm core)
• Connectors: LC to E-2000 (LSH)
• Colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.04 kg
• Cable jacket: LSZH
• Typical reach: up to 10 km at 1310 nm, up to 40 km at 1550 nm

How to use

Inspect connector end-faces for cleanliness before installation and clean if necessary with an appropriate fibre cleaning tool. Route the 3 m patch cord between the LC and E-2000 ports without sharp bends; maintain minimum bend radius per equipment guidelines. Insert connectors into the matching adaptors or transceivers until they click or seat firmly. Verify link status and perform optical power or continuity tests if required.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid tight bends, protect connectors with dust caps when not in use, and store the cable coiled without kinks. Use LSZH-rated routing in indoor installations where low-smoke, halogen-free materials are required.
