AXIS T8154 60 W SFP Midspan is a compact plug-and-play PoE midspan with an integrated power supply that reduces cabling and simplifies installation. It accepts data input via SFP or RJ45 and provides up to 60 W High PoE to connected devices, and is compatible with Axis network products that support Power over Ethernet.

How to use

Connect the AXIS T8154 to mains power using the integrated power cord. Insert the network uplink into the SFP module or the RJ45 port and connect the powered device to the PoE output port. The unit will automatically negotiate PoE and Ethernet speed with connected devices. Mount the midspan in a suitable location with adequate ventilation and ensure correct SFP module type is used when connecting via fiber.

Recommendations

Use certified SFP transceivers compatible with the AXIS T8154 and ensure connected devices support High PoE (60 W). Place the midspan in a dry, well-ventilated area and follow local electrical regulations when connecting to mains power.
